The program equips students with knowledge, skills, and nurtures core qualities to enable them to maximize their potential. The program comprises four parts: physical education, personal development and social skills, arts, science, and technology.
PROGRAM CONTENT:
PHYSICAL EDUCATION – Various activities help students gain more knowledge, skills, and opportunities to enhance physical training, develop endurance, and improve overall health. At VAUIS, students participate in activities suitable for their physical condition and age, including football, sprints, swimming, jumping, etc. Alongside an optimized curriculum, VAUIS provides modern and safe facilities and equipment to support students.
PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT AND SOCIAL SKILLS – The program is designed to cultivate qualities and develop essential social skills in each global citizen at VAUIS. This includes activities such as expansive reading – learning to read, experiential activities, career guidance, life skills – emotional and social education. In the “learning to read” activities, students develop a proactive reading habit and a love for reading, as well as comprehensively develop students’ language skills. For life skills – emotional and social education, the program is built on UNICEF’s skill groups (Life Skills Learning and Teaching: Concepts and Standard), helping students recognize and manage their emotions, empathize, understand others to collaborate, build relationships, and analyze, synthesize information to solve problems and make responsible decisions.
ARTS – Art subjects at VAUIS provide students with understanding, appreciation, practice, and creativity in specific art forms. Additionally, through Art, VAUIS helps students develop personal abilities, change community perceptions and behaviors, and contribute to the community. In addition to participating in music and art classes with diverse themes, VAUIS students also embody different characters in performing arts classes. Through this subject, students understand the personalities and behaviors of characters, bending themselves according to values of Truth – Goodness – Beauty. Moreover, regularly appearing on stage helps hone the ability to express emotions and confidence in public.
SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY – Information technology, STEAM, STEM subject, and scientific research activities help VAUIS students passionately explore, discover, experiment, and apply knowledge to solve real-life problems. These subjects also provide a foundation for students to adapt to changes in the modern world—changes brought about by the rapid and outstanding development of science and technology.
