On September 16th, 2024, Viet Au International School held a colorful and cozy Mid-Autumn Festival event with many exciting activities for students. The festival not only brought joy but also created opportunities for students to learn more about the meaning of the Mid-Autumn Festival – Reunion Festival, while fostering friendship and teacher-student bonds through group activities.
This year’s Mid-Autumn Festival at VAUIS attracted enthusiastic participation from all students with a variety of activities:

– Cheerleading and quiz: Starting the program, students were extremely excited with the appearance of Ms. Hang (the Moon Lady) and Mr. Cuoi (the Moon Man). The students exercised together, warming up the atmosphere before showing their intelligence with a quiz with questions about the Mid-Autumn Festival.
– Lively lion dance: The students were extremely excited with the vibrant lion dance, recreating the traditional atmosphere of the Mid-Autumn Festival. The sound of lion drums echoed throughout the schoolyard, bringing excitement and endless joy.

– Special art performances: VAUIS students showcased their talents through creative art performances, from gentle and graceful dances to songs about the Mid-Autumn Festival imbued with Vietnamese culture. The students confidently performed in front of the enthusiastic cheers of teachers and parents.

– Tug-of-war game: The spirit of solidarity and teamwork was clearly shown through the tug-of-war game. The students not only had fun but also learned how to cooperate and support each other, contributing to a bustling and connected atmosphere.

– Diverse food stalls: A highlight of the festival was the food stall area with many traditional dishes such as mooncakes, ice cream, and refreshing drinks. The children were able to enjoy delicious food while learning more about the typical cuisine of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

The Mid-Autumn Festival 2024 at VAUIS not only brought laughter but also left many deep memories for the students. Parents and students are invited to look back at the joyful and meaningful moments through the event’s recap photos.
