The health and safety of students are always of special concern and emphasis at VAUIS. The goal is to bring joy to learning and promote a balanced, healthy lifestyle within the school.
The medical clinic at VAUIS is operated by a team of nurses and counselors with high expertise in school health.
VAUIS medical clinic provides services in first aid and basic healthcare from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm daily, Monday through Friday.
The school health team ensures the monitoring of students’ health conditions, including height, weight, health checks, vaccinations, and comprehensive counseling. Families are required to provide the student’s health history when enrolling at VAUIS. The school nurses will use this health history to provide necessary care for the students.
At Viet Au International School (VAUIS), when students feel unwell or are injured, they can go to the Medical Clinic for basic healthcare and first aid. Additionally, the school provides comprehensive guidance to parents on vaccination programs for children according to the schedule recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The school also shares advice, guidance, and education on nutrition, health, gender, or any situations that students may encounter. Furthermore, all teachers and staff at the school undergo thorough training in school health and safety, covering medical knowledge, basic first aid techniques, and specific procedures for handling emergency situations.
