VAUIS Student Uniform Guidelines
Together – United – Proud
At VAUIS, our school spirit is built on community, confidence, discipline, and global readiness. The student uniform embodies this spirit, helping students feel part of a united community while expressing professionalism, pride, and respect.
Each uniform is designed not only for comfort and practicality but also as a symbol of our ethos: dynamic, friendly, and internationally minded. Wearing the uniform reminds students of their role in a collaborative learning environment, encourages self-confidence, and reinforces the values of discipline, respect, and engagement that are at the heart of VAUIS.
1. Uniform Provision
At the beginning of the school year, parents can purchase uniforms for students at the Admissions Office. Uniforms are provided only for VAUIS students.
Uniforms come in standard sizes suitable for different ages.
During the school year, students may buy additional uniforms if needed.
2. Uniform Exchange
Students should try on their uniforms upon receiving them to check size and any sewing defects.
Students may exchange their uniforms at the Admissions Office within five working days if one of the following applies:
• The fabric is damaged or seams are torn.
• The item has technical defects or wear due to objective causes.
• The uniform has not been used and still has its original tags.
3. Types of Uniforms and Usage
3.1 Daily School Uniform
A collared yellow-trimmed T-shirt with the VAUIS logo, paired with beige khaki pants or skirt.
This is worn on regular school days. It helps students stay comfortable, clean, and confident.
3.2 PE Uniform
A yellow T-shirt with grey trim and the VAUIS logo, worn with dark grey sports pants made from stretchy, breathable fabric.
This uniform is for PE lessons, outdoor activities, and field trips. It represents energy and enthusiasm.
3.3 Ceremony Uniform
A light-blue shirt with the VAUIS logo, worn with light-colored khaki pants or skirt.
This uniform is used on flag ceremonies, opening and closing ceremonies, special events, or when students represent the school in exchanges or competitions.
It shows a student’s confidence, neat appearance, and respect for formal occasions.
4. Washing and Care Instructions
T-shirts, ceremony shirts, and polo shirts:
Wash separately and use a color-care detergent to help keep the colors bright.
Pants, skirts, and PE uniform:
Hand-wash or use a gentle cycle to avoid stretching and keep the fabric in good condition.
During the first wash, the color of T-shirts, ceremony shirts, or polo shirts may fade slightly — this is normal.
Each uniform at VAUIS is not only clothing but also a source of pride for our students, carrying the spirit of kindness, confidence, and global citizenship.
